Keller High Water Polo has officially begun its season on August 1st. This is the first year that water polo is recognized by UIL as a sport in Texas. The athletes will practice twice a day until the first day of school then practice will move to just mornings. The first game is scheduled for Thursday, August 18th.
New head coach Keeley Lowery is looking forward to seeing her athletes feel valued at school and in the pool as #waterpolo becomes a @uiltexas sanctioned sport!
For @kellerwaterpolo Boys captain Alden Brinkmeier, there has been a lot of work put in to make #waterpolo a @uiltexas sport. From 9 to 30+ athletes, Alden has overseen tremendous growth!
It’s a family legacy for @kellerwaterpolo Girls captain Maggie Ragsdale as #waterpolo moves from a club sport to an official @uiltexas sport this upcoming season!
